Maud E Marriott b: abt 1883 Clerkenwell

Maud E Marriott was born to Charles Marriott and Lucy Mary Ann Marriott nee Bidmead.  I can't seem to find her birth or baptism records even though I have found her brother and sisters.  I first found her 1891 census with her mother and siblings at Buckhurst Manor, Wadhurst, Sussex.  Buckhurst Manor was owned by a Mr Venables but he was not in residence and Lucy Mary Ann was caretaker.  I was also wondering if Maud died young because I have a family story written by her niece stating that one of Lucy's daughters died young in a fire.

Edit - The Pancras one looks like another family in 1891

You can rule out Maud Elizabeth born Pancras, her baptism and subsequent census cancels her out.

I think she may have married on 13 Oct 1901  St Matthew with Tolworth, St George, Surbiton

Edit -Sadly looks as though their only child Maud Ethel Garthwaite was born and died in the Sept Qtr 1902 Brentford

Well done Kay, she is with future husband Francis H Garthwaite on the 1901 census, birthplace is Peckham, 10 years later her birthplace is Old Kent Road, London.

Could the early death be Amelia Marriott Age 2   April Qtr 1881 Pancras 1b 16
Baptised 6 Oct 1878 - St Marylebone Parents Charles and Lucy Marriott

I have Amelia's death but the family history implied a daughter died after they left London.  Of course this could be wrong because I found other errors in that history

Lucy lists her children as 10 in the last census with 2 of these children having died. If her first child Catherine E is included and the total of 10 is correct there appear 2 children unaccounted for and another child who died in addition to Amelia
