Can anyone help me. I am trying to access baptism records for areas if derbyshire from 1760 onwards, is there a free online source like there is for marriages?

Thankyou all, I am on ancestry, derbyshire history society and a couple of others, sometime ago I stumbled in a really useful site that listed surnames and gave births, marriages and deaths on it, but can I find it again!  8)

A lot of Derbyshire parishes have been transcribed and are on CD.  Which parish are you looking for?

Alfreton, darley abbey, foremark and a few more I think, my ancestors didn't seem to be much for travelling!

you may regret offering! here goes. I am looking for George Edwards, born 1851 married to Emma Whitmore born 1851, when were they married, when did they die any reference to parents or children. Also John Beardmore born 1842, married Francis Nelson 1843 - 1905, and finally William Nelson, no dates married Dorothy Coates 1.8.1781 no dates for her either, children Mary 27.1,1782 and john 1.8.1784 any more children!! Where do you get the CDs from? Thankyou in advance for your help!

What makes you think they were all from Alfreton?  I can't see any of those people on the CD
