CHARLES FORRESTER NOBLE

Im looking for Charles Forrester Noble he was supposedly born in Fraserburgh Scotland to parents Gilbert Noble and Helen Greene (maybe these are his parents as there are questions marks on the paper work I have) and died in Port Elizabeth. I have family notes saying that he was buried in south end Cemetery PE however I have looked www.eggsa.org gravestone search and found nothing no matter how I search his name I find nothing. My granny cannot remember when he died all she can tell me is he died when she was very young and he was 60 years old.

I have used scotspeople and found nothing concrete to say yes that him. I started to search through familysearch, death certificated but when there is in excess of a 1000 death certs for PE that will take me months to search on a guess of when he may have died. I have used ancestry and found nothing.

He married Margaret Elizabeth Burgess (no year of when this happened) I have looked through marriage certificated for PE years 1818/1819 and part of 1817 no luck finding anything.

If they had a church wedding does this still show in the marriage registers for PE? Or only people that got married there at the marriage office will show in those records?

Margaret Elizabeth Burgess (parents George Burgess B.1869 Cardiff and Margaret Elliot B.Unknown -- married 30.06.1895 Cardiff) was born on the 08.12.1895 Cottrell Rd, Roath Cardiff, Wales she moved to South Africa with her family when she was 16 and died and buried in PE  1978 im able to find her gravestone. she married a Martin Clayton Berry Burgess after the death or Charles however on the paper work I have it notes that Charles Forrester Noble had been married twice but unsure if this is before or after Margaret Elizabeth.

Unfortunately I cannot get onto our National Archives as it appears to be down at the moment.  However I did find the following:

NOBLE. – Albert, brother of Doris, Thelma and Mercia, passed away on January 1, 1983.
Eastern Province Herald. 

I will check the archives once they are up and running again.

George Gilbert Noble, born 1833, died 25 Feb 1914 in Walmer, Port Elizabeth.
Shipwright, boatbuilder.   Arrived PE 1854.
Married in Port Elizabeth to Ellen Greenway

Jane Ruth born 27 Feb 1870 in PE
Charles Forrester born 5 April 1873 in PE
Robert Allen born 28 March 1875 in PE

At house of Rev C G Forrester, on 28 July 1873, Charles Forrester, born 5th April 1873, parents Gilbert Noble & Helen [? Greenway ?], Minister Charles G Forrester.

[this surname very difficult to read - could be Greenway, Greening?]
