Adoption Records of Someone Deceased
« on: Saturday 21 June 14 12:05 BST (UK) »
How do I find these out? I am looking for details of my late father-in-law whom I suspect was adopted as I am unable to find any register of his birth with the last name he used.
So it looks like adoption.
I am an experienced family history researcher and not come up against this before.

Hi beirne1818

If there is info to share, please post it openly so that we can all see. Others will then be happier to contribute and may have further things to add.

Some chatters may be put off if they think it has all been done already, behind the scenes.
