I’m currently reading the book “the history of the upper Blackwood”it was handed down through my family and has notes from my great grandma who’s family were the scotts, it has a lot of info about the scotts in it mine also has little notes and marks through it showing the history of our family, sounds like you’re a very distant relative of mine!! Hope I’ve helped a little with finding more on our family’s history, when I get home I’ll try find some info on James Scott I’m sure over seen his name mentioned a few times in there!

Hi, thanks for the info about "History of the Upper Blackwood" - I'll check it out. I have a document researched by a granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth Scott. It details the life of William & Mary (Keane) Scott and their life at Norlup. Happy to forward it to anyone who is interested.
Regards,
