If you are able to see the ship's log book entries in total not just the passenger lists.
Every voyage had a ships surgeon or doctor and they had to keep records of all births and deaths during a voyage. Written reports were always made because doctors got paid extra money for each passenger landed at destination.
It may be that the log books haven't survived in their entirety, may be stored in archives either in Australia or England.
