Looks like it is back up .... but with a note to say that there could be some temporary site issues with the search and tree features.

So it's been down for a while. Give them a break these thing happen. I am sure we can all put up with it for a few hours. Would members be wanting a recompense if this forum went down?

My worldwide subscription is about 70 cents Australian a day (about 40p) I don't think I will worry about a refund

Yes Andy particularly that by using such as their records you save thousands , not having to visit archives in person. On the few occasions I have contacted them they have  been extremely helpful and understanding. Wish all help desks were as good.

Yes I agree with both comment's it was meant as a joke  :) :) I have used Ancestry for years and have found lots of family members with all the brilliant records  :) :)

I agree, would go with a sub for Ancestry any day over FindMyPast, but it seems to be what records you need. Would also add if you pay, you want it working ::)
