The marriage according to familysearch was on 6th October 1600 at Waldershare, Kent.

Even though Familysearch only shows the two children mentioned, it's rather unlikely that a couple married in 1600 didn't have any children till 12 years later.

Edit:  if you are referring to the Joseph in this record:

Joseph Heritage buried 10 May 1729 St. Mildred, Canterbury, Kent, son of John Heritage

then I don't think you are on the right track.  If the father's name was on the burial record, Joseph was in all probability an infant.

How have you got back to John Heritage?
Weedon - Hertfordshire and W. Australia
Herbertson, Congalton, Paterson - Scotland
Reed, Elmer - Hunts.
Branson - Bucks. and Birmingham
Warren, Ball, Jones - Birmingham
Fuller, Bourne, Sheepwash - Kent
Brittain - Beds. and W. Australia

Robert heritage Married Anne Hampton around 1600 as john was born 1612 and William born 1615. Bloody hard finding my Heritage tree, but it took years 7 to 8 and with a little help from people on here and from lost cousins i have found along the way. The book of Heritage's is over 60 pages long and i am still finding Them from 1600 to 2005. I am glad to be a HERITAGE. And i didn't marry into the name.

Hi

Given the couple of miles between LYDDEN and Waldershare I think these baptisms of HERITAGE children with father Robert could well be the same family

ANN chr. 25 Dec. 1602 dau of Robert in Lydden
EDWARD chr. 13 Apr. 1606 son of Robert in Lydden
ELIZABETH HERRITAGE chr. 7 Jan. 1609 dau of Robert in Lydden
