Pubs in Aldershot
« on: Sunday 26 June 05 21:12 BST (UK) »
Does any know anything about or have a photograph of the Royal Oak a pub in Union St, Aldershot.

According to the 1901 census my grandfather was the licensed victualer.

Sandra

Thanks for replying to my query.

I would like a photo of the Royal Oak as I live near Edinburgh visiting Aldershot will not be easy although I do intend to visit one day.

The name of my Grandfather was Frederick Woods - does you mother-in-law know anything about the family, I have no idea how long they were there.
