Work by him is apparently included in Cell yr Adroddwr" an anthology of poetry suitable for Sunday School and literary meetings, by D. Onllwyn Brace published in 1879 in Ystalyfera vy Ebeneezer Rees.

There was also a letter by him written in his capacity as local resident, in response to a review written by "Gohebydd" to a concert held in Salem chapel, Fleur de Lis on April 4th 1878. Gohebydd's report said that they sang Rhyfelgyrch Gwyr Harlech to a very poor standard well below what that expected of the concert.
Trelynydd felt the need to respond in the conductor's defence. He is basically explaining that the conductor of that choir on the night (W Parry of Pengam), was asked at the last minute (3 weeks notice) to prepare a choir form Salem to sing in the concert. Sounds as if the singing was a bit of a disaster (he says their singing was not worthy of the concert), due, Trelynydd explains in Mr Parry's defence, because the choir was not loyal to the conductor, they had very little time to practise together, very few of them could understand music and they did not turn up to the music lessons. Mr Parry thought on more than one occasion that he should give up. Trelynydd syas that everyone knows Mr Parry's ability and he was always prepared to give his best in the years he had been in the area and that he is a man for the community. Terleynydd says Mr Parry should get the support he deserves from the singers of the place.
