Death Certificate in San Francisco?
« on: Tuesday 10 June 14 16:24 BST (UK) »
I would like to buy my grandfathers birth certificate. His name is John William Ackroyd, he died in San Francisco, California 6th June 1967 although there is a possibility he died 10th June. I am in Australia and have no idea where to go online to do this. ???  He did have a Social Security number, and is buried in The Greenlawn Cemetery (I think San Mateo County). Born in 1895 at Rotherham, Yorkshire.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The California Death Index did give a death date of 10 June 1967 for John Ackroyd (born 8 May 1895) - mothers maiden name Bramwell.

Looks like the son is listed on FIND A GRAVE

John K Ackroyd - 14 February 1927 - 25 April 1975

Burial: Skylawn Memorial Park  San Mateo San Mateo County California.
Plot: Vets I

Pearlene Ackroyd  1927 - 1993
