News from the Suffolk Archives is that the records will go live on Ancestry on Thursday 14th August.

I have a lot of lines in Suffolk but the lack of records online for the parishes concerned has meant I've never really pursued them properly for a number of years.

Travelling from the North East to Suffolk and back during the week to check the records in person has never been practical - so this will be a real game changer.

Really hoping they do in fact materialise on the 14th - the date is in my calendar!

So excited for this - around a quarter of my ancestry is Suffolk centred and I live 200 miles away, so I’ve had all these lines on the back burner for years!
