Duckworth/Lewis marriage at Bury 1941
« on: Saturday 07 June 14 16:35 BST (UK) »
I have a newspaper cutting with 6in x 4in  photo in perfect condition of  the marriage of Marjorie Sheppard Lewis and John Foulds Duckworth in November 1941. He's RAF in uniform, son of Bury F.C. director. I would like to pass it on to any descendant.

Good evening Kim Hulme,

I am Robert Duckworth, and haven't been on this site for a long while but came across your post. I know that it was a while back (two years) but I am John Foulds Duckworth's great nephew.
If by any chance you still possess the newspaper cutting it would be lovely to see it.

Kind regards

Rob Duckworth

Hi,
I have not got that particular paper to hand. It will be somewhere in my office. It will turn up and then I'll contact you. Would you like to let me know the other names and locations that you are interested in?

Hi Kim,
Thank you for your reply. At present I am not seeking anything further in particular but I will look thorough my family tree to see if there are any gaps that need filling.

Thank you once again and all being well the paper cutting will turn up again soon.

Kindest regards

Rob
