First you set up Joan as a female using her maiden name. Then you set up husband 1 and add a marriage event to this couple. You connect up child 1 with these two as parents. You then set up husband 2 and create a marriage event between him and Joan. Child 2 can then be connected to this couple. Joanīs record in FTM will always show her maiden name. Each child will show its fatherīs surname. You can choose which of the two marriages you want to show as the most relevant to your own research, but can easily switch between the two.
