Well this is interesting, I have a feeling I might be related to these Halls too (you'll also see I started a recent other thread about a Charles Bertram Hall on here). Regarding this, my 3xgreat-grandfather was Richard Hall (b.1810-1847), his father was Thomas (I don't have any dates), and Richard had a son called Morris (b.1834-?). I have them both living in Shoreham on the 1841 census with Richard as a baker. Morris's brother, Richard Stephen Hall is my direct descendent.
Brian - this sounds like it could well be the same family?
