Charles F Turner Death Record
« on: Tuesday 03 June 14 22:28 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Looking for advice on what information can be found on a 1911 Rhode Island Death Record.

I have found a Death Record for a Charles Franklin Turner, born around 1879 and died 5th July 1911 in Providence Rhode Island. It lists his Parents as William Turner & Mary A Turner and his Spouse as Agnes.

If I ordered the Death record would the Spouses Maiden name appear on it?

Thank you
Magsi

Hi,

Looking at family search some death records after 1911 do show the mothers maiden name BUT it probably depends on what information the informant knew about the deceased  ???

You added to a previous thread on a Charles and Agnes Turner and indicate there was a connection to Agnes Donaghey - Charles Turner and Agnes Donaghey married Boston 3 Feb 1902. That family seemed to appear on the 1911 UK census (taken 2 nd April 1911)   ??? Is it the same Charles you are seeking info on here ?

The Charles Turner that married Agnes Donaghey in Boston had parents John Turner and Mary Harris which is why I am asking ?

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your reply :)
Yes Agnes Donaghey is my Great Aunt. She married Charles Turner in Boston on 3rd Feb 1902. They are living in Liverpool in the 1911 England census. She went back to Boston America in 1912 (also in 1908 but cannot find that record) as a Widow, so I'm presuming that his death would of occurred between April 1911 and May 1912. A relative informed me that Charles died in America?

I would like to find the Agnes' maiden name on this record as I cannot find any information on a Charles F Turner born about 1880 in Connecticut with parents John Turner and Mary Harris except the Marriage record for Boston.

I have another ancestor whose marriage record in Boston has The a Father listed as John instead of James so I was wondering if the same had happened here

Thank you
Magsi
