This is marriage photo of my great grandparents Frederick and Mary Dixon nee Bimson. They married in 1916 Carlisle.

The rear of the picture says: If found Please forward on to Mrs F Dixon, 20 Millom Terrace, Currock, Carlisle, Cumberland, Blighty.

Looks like it was taken overseas by Frederick. He came back from WW1

Thank you, D_, I am very grateful to all who have helped to make the picture stand out.

We had found the picture amongst my mum's possesions when we were sorting through her things prior to her going into a nursing home, she has vascular dementia and alzheimers.

The grandparents in the picture brought her up as she was illegitemate and they are about the only people she remembers nowadays. Now the picture is a lot clearer I will take it for her to see, maybe we'll get a little conversation going
