Hi could anyone tell me how I am able to find out when my gt gt gt grandfather arrived in India with the royle artillary between 1861 to 1870 on a ship, from the web site FIBIS families British India, I have done it before with my other grandfather who served in India but I can't Rembrandt how. Can we assume you have looked on Findmypast for his record? These will give you his Brigade and Battery. If he is not listed you can check the 1861 Worldwide Index , also on FindMyPast. This may give you his Brigade  and Battery.

If the station location link does not give you the information you are after, then you will have to look at the muster books in Kew.
