Hi..
My Uncle Alec (whom we never knew)  was   killed when his ship HMS Abdiel  was blown up off the coast of Taranto,italy.He is commemorated on the  Plymouth war memorial ; but I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find a photograph of him.

Jed maybe there was an obituary in his local paper?

I thought that ..contacted the local library and they had a look but no joy.

I'm the grandson of Thomas, Jonathan. I was looking into what happened to Alec and came across your post.

I believe there is a photo knocking around, although I haven't seen it yet, could get you a copy if you like?
