Noble families x Broadsea, Fraserburgh

Thank you for the census info,  I had this information a few years ago but lost it when my computer crashed, and hadn't gotten around to finding it again.

The last one am not sure if they are connected to my Nobles, probably are as they are everywhere in Broadsea.

My name is Alexandra Noble
I live in Australia
My Parents are John Noble and Josie Noble divorced.  They migrated to Australia before I was born. 1964 I think.
My Grandparents are Gertrude Evelyn Noble still living at 94 in Australia, and Andrew Noble who was killed in the war.  What year I don't know.

We are from Fraserburgh, a broch family. 

My Great Grandparents name was Muggsie Dunn - I know the spelling is wrong.

If anyone has any information about my family please I would be grateful if you would let me know.

Hello,

According to the CWGC he died in Fraserburgh on 5th November 1940. Civilian dead - most probably due to bombing. Son of Mr and Mrs David Noble of 59 College Bounds.

I noted your interest in Noble families of Broadsea and especially if there is anyone down under researching them.  My mum was born  in Broadsea and her grandmother was Jane Noble  b 22 May 1858 -  died 1937who married Andrew McWilliam,  Peterhead man.  would be interested to hear if there is any connection.
My dad's family are from skye hence my username - skyegirl

Can anyone tell me anymore about the family?

I think Julie Noble went to America - Detroit- and Married and became Mrs Henry

As for the others I do not know.

When I was in Fraserburgh everyone remembered Muggsie Dunn they said to me know your kin.

But I dont know much more than that.

Any information would be much appreciated.

I'm very new to this chat room business and also quite new to researching my 'Bredsie' roots. My mum was a Broadsea Noble and I myself was born in the Broch. Through Scotland's People I'm trawling through the records in search of my ancestors.  Although I have lived in Bucks for a long time now, I have recently renewed ties with my cousin who still lives in that part of the country and I'm going up to visit her around May time.  I can maybe add some dates to my research by checking out the not unsubstantial Noble plot in the cemetery.

Like I say, I am very new to this and hope you don't mind me having contacted you.

So far I have traced back to my great,great,great grandfather George Noble who married a Mary Noble (nee Noble) but I am unable to trace a marriage certificate. Mary Noble I think was born around 1813 and if I have researched this properly, she died on 29 January 1890.  Through the OPR I have found their son, Andrew Noble, who was born or baptised on 11 April.
