Ella (Mrs Merker) Edith (Mrs  Bridle) and great-aunt of Helen.  Hayden, Annette and Marylin, and
cousin of the Linsdell family  Bungaree, in her 69th year.

Seeking further information on WILLIAM EDWARD BACKHOUSE born England, baptised St Peter Liverpool  12 April 1857, emigrated to Australia in August 1860 with parents Edward and Sarah.
Believed to have married FANNY FLORENCE REDMAN at Landsborough, Victoria in 1881.
