Maybe George Ludlam's death cert. might give some info up on where he was born, his parents etc. Depending of course on what the informant of his death knew.

I think that is a different one, as the BMD records show that Alexander George and Caroline had kids from 1899-1904. I wonder if Alexander was the son of Maria Ann?
