I think I might have a problem with Jane as I believe she came from Ireland.
Why do you think that? Both 1851 and 1861 censuses say she was born Cranwell, only about 5 miles from Scopwick.
Free BMD has this possibility (but they are the only two names on that page)
Marriages Sep 1837
~~~~~~~~
GREY Jane Sleaford 14 637
RUSH Abraham Sleaford 14 637
The IGI has these baptisms in Cranwell about the right time (but no Jane)
1. MARY GRAY - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 21 MAY 1826 Cranwell, Lincoln, England
2. THOMAS GRAY - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 05 DEC 1820 Cranwell, Lincoln, England
3. JAMES GRAY - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 06 APR 1823 Cranwell, Lincoln, England
4. ANN GREY - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 26 JUL 1818 Cranwell, Lincoln, England
All were children of Thomas and Mary Gray/Grey.
Of course, if you have an overwhelming urge to sample some Guinness, you could chase the Irish connection!
