Thanks for details of death notice Sylvia  :)

What newspaper was this in and what date please.....I think Welsh Newspapers online won't have it but do you know where I might get the actual notice from?

Appreciate your help.

Hi Tracy

Looking at Kellys Directories I can see that Herbert Reginald German was living at
22 Glynrhondda Street until about 1932 or maybe a bit later some of them were missing.
In the 1937 directory and from then on he is at Sherwood Ty Winch Road.
There are a lot of houses in this road and I  assume that these were built in the  30s.

I did go to the Glamorgan Archives on Friday but they were closed for alterations maybe
at a later date I could go there again and see if I can find any more information for you

Hi, Tracy

Sorry to have been so long coming back to you, (real life keeping me too busy) but I see that you have received excellent help (MUCH better than I could have done!) from other people so I'll step back.  I had been looking at old maps and had also come to the conclusion that it was well into the 20th century when Sherwood was built, but Sylvia has already confirmed that for you.  I'll leave you to it now - and good luck with your research.
