St Wilfrid Ribchester Lookup
« on: Wednesday 14 May 14 11:50 BST (UK) »
Hi Guys,
I was wondering if someone would be able to do a look up request for me.
I know there are some grave inscriptions for most of the graveyard for the time I want and was wondering who else is buried in my relatives grave.

I am looking for my greatx3 grandad and grandma Jabcob Whalley and Elizabeth (Betty) Whalley.

Jacob was buried 13 Apr 1885 in grave 11/15
Betty was buried 24 Apr 1890 in grave 11/15.

I  would like to know if there is an inscription to see who is in the grave or even better if someone is going possibly a photograph of the grave (if there is a headstone).

I live in Blackburn and would normally try and get there myself but I am working in France for the next few months which is quite annoying as I really want to find out more :)

Thankyou in advance

Hi
I have had a quick look on www.lan-opc.org.uk

Jacob and Betty are both in grave 11/15. I can't see any other Whalleys in the same grave.

Heather

I know Heather, there is a website which states there are grave inscriptions available for that church. There are some records which dont have a grave listed possibly due to transcription errors for lan-opc which is why I wanted a lookup possibly at the library or if anyone has the records available or maybe even if anyone lives near there would be able to take a picture. But thanks anyway Heather :)
