MILLINER family
« on: Saturday 25 June 05 12:56 BST (UK) »
Hello -
I am researching the MILLINER family.  I am stuck on Isaac MILLINER.  He had a son William(born about 1825 died August 30, 1892) who married Emma HAWKINS on June 22, 1851.  If you have ANY information on this line please contact me.  William and Emma had a son Alfred....I am off of that line - but would love to have the other childrens trees also.
Thanks for your time,
Amy Flick

Hi Amy

I am descended from an Issac Milliner born in 1802.  He had a son William, but this was in 1841, so I don't suppose its the same one?!  It is possible that there is some connection however.  Which part of Gloucestershire are you looking at?  Do you have any other names I could possibly link up?

The 1861 census information posted above is my family.  The Albert Milliner born 1844 is my great, great grandfather.

Looking forward to discovering if there is a connection

Hi  Amy

I think that your Alfred's father - William may have been a brother of Albert Milliner (my g.g.grandfather).  If you would like to know more information about this side of the family - I am happy to let you know.

I would love to know more.  I do have Williams death certificate.  It says he died in 1892 and was 67 years old though?  That would put him as being born in 1825 or so right?  I am very interested in your reply.  Can I post my e-mail address here for you to contact me? or visa versa?
Thanks for all of your time & help!!
Can't wait to hear from you!!!

Hi
I too have an Isaac Milliner in the family, but I suspect a different branch.
Isaac Milliner born Cold Ashton, Glos 1800, died Cold Ashton 1853.
Son William born Cold Ashton 1822 and married Mary Fishlock of Marshfield.
Other children were Elizabeth, Robert, Reuben and Emma.
Any links to the North Glos cousins.
Cheers Dave
