Tunstall war memorial/memorial gardens Staffordshire

Hi everyone

I wondered if there was anyone who lived near the Tunstall war memorial/memorial gardens?
Would it be possible to take a photo of the memorial to include the name LEONARD PROBIN killed on 19th April 1917 & THOMAS PROBIN killed on 10th June 1943/

Hello Kate,

I have taken photos of that memorial several times, & I'd be happy to take some with your families names close up as well as any additional ones... I virtually live in Tunstall, the memorial gardens are a 20 minute walk from my place... Not sure what we have on this weekend, but I'll try to do it as soon as pos!

I have found a website about the Tunstall Memorial Gardens & War Memorial which you might find interesting - it is very good as far as I can tell!

I have also taken some photos  of the gardens, when I was visiting the library which is right beside them, yesterday. I hope they suffice! If you would like me to do something a bit different, please let me know!

Oooooh! Kate! I just checked that website & they have listed all the names on the memorial with any known information about each of the fallen... Your PROBINs are there! Enjoy!

Thank you ever so much for taking the time & trouble to take the photographs.I will certainly have a look @ the web site in the next couple of days.Leonard Probin`s medals did come up for auction,but I didn`t know about it @ the time.Someone has sadly split them up,I don`t know why?.So I know what happened to one medal,but not the rest?
