His parents were John Edgar English born 1892 probably in Islington.John was in the Royal artillery as a driver and also a Journeyman Baker. His mother was Minnie Elizabeth English nee Sellens born 1885 was in Holborn area?. Minnies mothers name was E S sellens.
My stepfather was supposed to have had a distinguised war record and I have always wondered just what that meant. Many thanks
