My grandfather and naval photos

Hi all, I am in need of help finding some royal naval photographs of my grandfather if that would be possible. I have researched him and have his service number and service records but I would love to have a photograph of him in is service days. Does anyone know how I would go about this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and help.

Your best bet is to ask around in the family, & see who might still have any photos.
Most Royal Naval service records don't have photos attached, - although some (later) Merchant Navy records do.
What time period are you looking at?

Still fairly recent then...
It really is worth asking around in the wider family... It's funny sometimes where family photos end up. I only got a copy of one of my late father & his brothers when I managed to trace a cousin in Switzerland who had one.
