Very true Rosie.

With three separate direct ancestral lines in Wiltshire, one of which has been a major brickwall for years, I shall be looking forward to them appearing online. ;D

very patient  :-\

I remember when Ancestry started digitising the LMA collection, it took about 18 months from announcement to going live.

Although released in 2009, the collection is still not complete.

But still good news

True Dawn, I doubt we'll see anything until the middle of next year at the earliest, but its good news none the less.

From memory, it took them about 14 months to get the post1813 Baptism and Burial PRs for Northamptonshire online, from the time I saw online a confirmation that the contract had been awarded (but don't know exactly when they started digitising the records) and another 12 months for the remaining records to get launched.

Just wish they would revist the LMA and sort out all the missing registers.  I doubt though that is ever going to happen. :-X
