Maybe try looking at Pershore Airfield?

Hi,
Try also Defford Airfield; one and the same. I think.

also croome court, which was taken over by the raf in ww11.
Defford and Croome Court are nearer to upton on severn than pershore.

Given that the bombers were testing the then secret Radar records may be a bit hard to find.

croome court is National Trust, there is a bit about its ww11 history when you visit
