Where might I be buried? - Hulme - 1885

David Firth - died September quarter 1885 - Registration District = Chorlton.  Not in Hulme parish records available from Ancestry, and does not appear on the www.burialrecords.manchester.gov.uk site.  Wife Hannah Maria dies September quarter 1892 - Registration District = Manchester.

1881 living at 37 Rutland Street, Hulme with wife Hannah Maria and various children.
Born 1828 in Marsden, West Riding, married Hannah Maria Marshall 1850 in Almondbury (Huddersfield).  First appears in Hulme in 1854 with baptism of daughter Hannah Maria at St George, Hulme on 26 December 1854 (death the same day and burial on 29th at St George).
Majority of children baptised at St George or St Michael, Hulme.

There is a baptism that fits David Firth of Marsden in the non-Conformist collections on Ancestry. If that is him, even though he has made connections with the C of E church of St George, he might have been buried in a cemetery with a non-conformist section. Rusholme Road or Ardwick cemeetery could be a possibility. Or Cheetham Hill Wesleyan, which I've found has burials of people who weren't Wesleyan or from Cheetham Hill.
There are some records for these cemeteries (all closed and cleared now) on Find My Past, but I can't find David Firth among them at the moment. Mind you I can't find much of anything under the new FindMyPast layout, so might be worth trying in a week or so, hopefully their searches will have improved by then

David was baptised at St Bartholomew, Marsden on 28 September 1828, he married Hannah Maria Marshall on 1 April 1850 at Almondbury.  The family moved to Hulme.  1871, 81 and 91 show the family living in Rutland Road, Hulme.  Most of the children were baptised at St George, Hulme.

Some children were later buried at Southern Cemetery - as adults.

Hello, I stumbled upon these posts about David Frith a bit by accident.  I was looking for information on another David Frith buried in 1874 in Ardwick Cemetery.  I am wondering if any of you know if he is related to your David Frith.  My David was born 1872, died 1874.  He was the son of David Frith (1844) and Esther Killip (1843).  I would appreciate any assistance.  Thanks very much!!
