The link is here
http://liverpool.gov.uk/libraries/
However, if you haven't been into the library and used your card to borrow books etc, it has most probably expired.
Most libraries I use seem to validate my card number every 2 years or so.

I think you might need membership to a Scottish library for those.
Some offer access to the Scotsman paper.
Some libraries are cutting down on their subscriptions as they cost too much.

Hi
I can't see the 19th Century British Newspapers (Gale Group) in the list of Reference Sites for the Liverpool libraries, your best option is to check with the library to see if they subscribe to this source.

Thanks for the help, I will contact them in the morning.
Are there any websites that give the details of libraries and what they offer?

Hi
Generally speaking there are restrictions on joining libraries, usually you have to live or work in the area.

You haven't updated your profile so we don't know where in the world you are, but check the library service in your area to see what they offer.

Liverpool Libraries no longer give access to Gale's newspaper collections.
