A 1901 census entry for Hector and Kate McKinnon in Oban, with first born Hughina born c.1891, as posted by Jim above.
A death of Kate Mckinnon/McLean in 1905.
A death of Hector McKinnon c. 1908 (not clear really from what I have seen so far from others research).

Age of John Mackinnon fits with what we have for the Mckinnon family in Oban (don't worry too much about the Mac/Mc - search on Scotlands People as m*ck to pick up on variations). His marriage cert to Jessie would help you confirm and link to the family we are discussing. You always have to work back from where you are. You have Hughina with him in 1911, and he shows as Uncle John born in Oban.
