« on: Friday 04 April 14 15:49 BST (UK) »
I have a relative William Tierney, born 23rd Feb 1900 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland who went to Australia and was never heard of again. His parents were Jane (Jeannie) Tierney MS Wilson & Patrick Tierney.
I have found a William Tierney who sailed from London in 1926 to Melbourne. I would like to find out more about his life in Australia, what is my next step?

What were the details on the passenger list eg occupation etc and name of ship please?  He may not have disembarked in Melbourne.

Did he have a second given name?

Have you looked through the resources for Australia and each State individually

Hi Cando,
His only given name was William , no middle name.  I'll get back to you with name of ship, etc.
