A substantial rescue mission here of my Mother Olive as a child

I have been clearing some of my mother's effects and found this picture of her at the bottom of a box of cards. As you can see it is in very poor shape - if anyone can make it a bit better, I'd be extremely grateful. She always swore there were no pictures of her as a child ... still, I guess with saggy knickers like those in the picture, it's not surprising she stuck to that story.
