Thanks James. That is the one I remember.
I haven't found any siblings or parents either. They are likely to be in the Eccleston or Douglas Chapel Registers but I'm not sure those still exist prior to mid 1700s.
Are you part of Noah's clan?
I'm still looking at Lancashire Stringfellows and trying to fit them all together. The vast majority of the ones living around Chorley, Blackburn, Salford in the 19th century appear to lead back to Wrightington, many of them to Noah and Margaret.
But at the moment I'm looking at some Liverpool Stringfellows who may be a completely different set.
Byers (Salford & London)
Stringfellow (Salford & Chorley)
Holmes (Manchester & Birmingham)
Goulding/Golden (Birmingham & Lincolnshire)
Bassett (Manchester & Salford, Staffordshire)
Child (Lincolnshire)
Belshaw (Salford)
Hallsworth (Eccles & Salford)
Vernon (Bury & Chapel en le Frith)

Hi ,
Yeah there seems to be a bit of a dead end when it comes to Noah as the douglas chapel was demolished so there aren't many records for it..
He was my GGGGGG granddad...I think that's the right amount of G's anyway ha ha..
We are still in the Lancashire area not far from eccleston/wrightington area.. so have managed to get round a few church yards but still not found much that's relevant.. Will keep you informed if I find anything.
Cheers

If I'm correct, Noah was my ggggg grandfather (From Noah via William, Thomas - records a bit iffy there but I'm reasonably confident, Henry, Noah, Charlotte who was my grandmother). We are the ones who ended up in Pendleton, Salford.
