I have an old postcard from 1908 addressed to Catherine who was nicknamed Cassie but the name it is written to doesn't look like either. Can somebody help me decipher what it says. Dear

I think the word you are after is "Niece".

Yes, but it's spelled wrong. I before E and all that...
Interesting the notation about the Inland Communication Except for...and dated 08. Useful to know

yep, niece it is. Isn't it funny how we can stare at something for ages and as soon as someone else says it it is crystal clear?
