Searching for Watkin MORRIS

Hi, I cannot find a birth reference for Watkin MORRIS, who I know from later census was born c.1875/76 at Ystrad Glamorgan, son of Watkin and Annie Morris. 

The Watkin that I am tracing married in 1901 and was aged 25, so I've deduced his birth date back from that and also from the 1901 census; however, as I cannot find any birth reference to him during 1875/76 I wonder whether this may have been a middle name and that 'Watkin' was a familiar name.  I'm rather stumped and, although I have traced back up his lineage, I'd love to get a copy of his birth certificate if I can get a date for him. 

Any ideas that you clever people have would be very much appreciated.

  I had a quick look at the census records, he is listed as aged 16 in 1891 and aged 6 in 1881. Could this be him?  It's the correct registration district, but in 1874 rather than 1875.

Thanks, yes that sounds like him.  Does the census that you are looking at give any records of any other members of his household, parents, brother, etc?
