Looking for Abel Leach in 1851 census - Stockport
« on: Thursday 23 June 05 16:28 BST (UK) »
Could someone please look up Abel Leach for me in the 1851 census for Stockport?  He would have been 26 years old and single at that time.  In the 1861, his widow Ann (Thomas) Leach was living at 24a Chestergate, if that helps any.  I greatly appreciate your help.

That's them.  Wow!  That's the whole family, or the younger children at least.  I didn't know Abel's parents names.

Interesting about the visitor Isabella Cantrell.  She must have made quite an impression on them.  Abel and his wife Ann named their eldest daughter Isabella.

Thank you so much, Peter.
