If it looks like this it would date the cardstock 1908-14 & the photo 1908-10.

Yes, the mushroom hat was a thankfully short-lived fashion from about 1908-1912ish, and maybe hung on a bit later in some places. It was designed to fit over a big fluffy pompadour hairstyle, and was nailed on with hatpins :) This is a good one :)
