looking for help with a Riglar ancestors

Hi
I'm struggling with one of the earliest people on one of my trees
John Riglar appears to have been baptised 1715 to parents Daniel and Ann in Powerstock
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/V5JF-V5Z
I'm looking for any more info on his parents, I've found a marriage in Dorset dated 1712 for a Daniel Riglar marrying a Jane
other trees on ancestry seem to have mixed the 2 pieces of info up, is there anywhere else I can search to find out if the father of John is the same person that ?married Jane (maybe she died and he married again?) or any way of finding a marriage for a Daniel Riglar and Anne
any help appreciated as always
Linda

Hi
first off are you sure Daniel and Ann are his parents? There was another John baptised same year
John Rigler baptised 18th September 1715 Powerstock parents Henry and Jane . Have you any names in the family that might match either set of parents? That might point us in the right direction.

thanks for the reply and help
looking at my John again I can't say for sure why I assumed he was the son of Daniel (although I couldn't find the other John on familysearch)
my John had one son I know of called Henry so I need to go back and check thoroughly

I am struggling with John RIGLAR too.
Which John?
There were two John Riglers born in 1715 in Powerstock.
(i) John Rigler - baptized on 18 Sep 1715 - Son of Henry and Jane RIGLER
(ii) John Rigler - baptized on 8 May 1715 - Son of Daniel and Anne RIGLER
In the Powerstock Overseers Accounts that are on Dorset OPC.
PAID THE POOR OF POWERSTOCK (POORSTOCK)
April 8th 1757 Pd the Lord’s rent for John Riglar £ 0 1 s 0? d
August 28 th 1757 Gave John Riglar’s wife £0 2s. 0d.
September 25th 1757 Gave John Riglar’s Wife £0 1s. 0d.
November 20th 1757 Gave Anne Riglar Widow £0 1s. 0d.
PD THE POOR OF NETTLECOMBE
December 19th 1756 Gave Anne Riglar £ 0 1 s 0 d
April 6th 1757 Pd Anne Riglar £ 0 5 s 0 d
So from this I conclude that John Riglar that married Ann Berry died between 25th Sep 1757 and 29th Nov 1757. She died in 1758. I have not seen a record for his death.
In the Powerstock marriages there are the following John Riglers on Dorset OPC
John RIGLER & Edith WALLBRIDGE married 5-Jul 1736 [Phill' & BTs]
John RIGLER & Ann BERRY married 4-Oct 1742 [Phill' & BTs]
John Rigller widower & Edith Greening married 11-Feb 1759 [Phill' & BTs]
John Riglar widower & Edith Mills married 22-Jun 1778 [Phill' & BTs]
In the Powerstock baptisms there are the following John Riglers on Dorset OPC
John son of John & Anne RIGLER baptised 19-May 1758
The children for John RIGLER and Edith WALLBRIDGE
Missing from Dorset OPC Ann of John and Edith RIGLER Feb 6th 1740
All others on Dorset OPC
Mary daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 1-Nov 1742
Lydia daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 4-Mar 1745
Christian son of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 6-Jan 1748
Betty daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 9-Nov 1751
Susannah daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 20-Apr 1755
An Illegitimate child - could be the Edith MILL who marries John in 1778
Edith Rigler daughter of Ann MILLER baptised 27-Dec 1743
The Children for John RIGLER and Ann BERRY
Elizabeth daughter of John & Ann RIGLER born 10 Aug 1744 baptised 2 Sep
Jenny daughter of John & Ann RIGLER baptised 16-Apr 1750
John son of John & Anne RIGLER baptised 19-May 1758
?William son of Anne RIGLER baptised 19-Mar 1760
Children of John RIGLER and Edith GREENING
Henry son of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 1-Feb 1760
Joseph son of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 29-Mar 1762
William son of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 2-Jul 1764
Jane daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 11-Sep 1767
Elizabeth daughter of John & Edith RIGLER baptised 3-Jul 1770
Any help appreciated.
