Thank you so much that solves that problem about the Freemans.

I'm so close to finding rellies "I can smell them"  :D

One last thing (I hope) for a clincher.
William Holburn B: 1851/52 in Sunderland, England - lived in London. (Carpenter)

He seems to have come over in 1922 to Melbourne and I have him buried in the Brighton Cemetery - died 31 March 1930 aged 79 with Ernest Holburn and Alice Holburn with all their details.

However, I need something else (anything) on William.  Where was he living (he doesn't seem to be on the Electoral Rolls at Beaconsfield Parade (then again maybe he wasn't eligible to vote).  A newspaper notice perhaps. Anything else would be brilliant.

Here's hoping

Australian Electoral Rolls
1924
HOLBURN William  32 Beaconsfield Parade, Albert Park  Carpenter

You can search yourself for a death notice.  Search in the Argus
http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper

Perhaps he had a Will probated

Have a look at the Australian Resources and then Victorian Resources at the top of the board.
