I've posted this in the Berwickshire forum but also thought I would post here as well.
I am interested to find out about some MI's for the surname Edgar. My great x 3 grandfather was Alexander Edgar whose death / or maybe burial date is 19 August 1858, Harelaw, Chirnside. I have read that he is buried in a family plot at Coldingham Priory (Z-11 ( this number may relate? ).
I have searched the Borders FHS Gravestone Index which shows 4 stones with the name Edgar.
Any information anyone has on these stones would be very much appreciated.
