May be of interest to some. George Jeffreys, 1st Baron of Wem (The Hanging Judge) 1645 to 1689. Lord Chancellor.
Wiki only places his residence at Lowe Hall, Wem. However, he lived at Bulstrode Park, near Gerrards Cross, Bucks.
Two of his daughters were married at St Mary's, Hedgerley. Bulstrode may well have been within the parish of Hedgerley. I can't think of any old church at Gerrards Cross. Gerrards was originally Jarret's. Just a crossroads intersecting the now A40 with a road running from Slough to Amersham etc. There was a gibbet there where highwaymen were hanged.
