I also have a copy of this book and it’s worth pointing out that it lists individuals alphabetically by surname, then also lists them under the towns and villages they came from. I’m using it to research the rebels that came from my village.

Hello St Gregory. Just found this thread that you have reactivated. Looks like Keith is no longer active. Are you able to provide and willing to do look ups?

Cheers
Jack Gee

I can, though I’m a new and occasional visitor to the site. But looking up names in this book is very easy.

Could i  avail myself of your help in this case? Please  have a look for the following names -
CECIL, GILBERT, WEBB, PARRY, HOWELLS, THOMAS, HARRIS, WORD, HYATT & EDWARDS.

All of these names have some association with my Gilbert paper tree of my Cecil Dna tree.
All are associated to country west of the Forest of Dean in the west counties and south Wales.
No time limit but any help would be much appreciated.
Name - date - context - if any?

cheers
Jack Gee

You’ve got some pretty common surnames there, so I’ll initially just tell you how many there are of each

Cecil - 0
Gilbert - 2
Webb - 7
Parry - 0, but see Pacey and Perry
Howells - 1, but 3 called Howell and 1 Hoell
Thomas - 13
Harris - 11
Word - 0
Hyatt - 0
Edwards - 8

So, up to 50 individuals. Do you have any specific names to narrow it down?
