Hi
Still looking for info on Benjamin Carr its been a long time since I have done any searching he was a mining
Engineer he moved around a lot he was born in 1823 in Long Benton England , I know he went to Canada Nova Scotia with his wife they had a daughter. On the 1881 census his wife is back in Gateshead England as a widow,
I would like to know about some info I have found about a Benjamin Carr who built a ship called Eliza and Susan in Canada
can anyone expand on this.
Thanks.

Hi Hunter51:

Not sure if this helps at all, but I came across a reference to the Eliza and Susan as being built by John Stout and sold to Benjamin Carr of Sydney in 1853 (p 80-1 at the bottom of the link).
