Going back to the puzzle about how they are rolling out  the new Search  (not cookies)  - could it possible be just  simply in alpha order.I note that some of you who have it have surnames in the top half of the alphabet. Mine's in the bottom half - not sure about others.

That is what I thought earlier on Gadget ;D  .... about the surnames being alphabetcial .... cause mine is way up top ......... but then again, I did also  click on the heading that was  up there, if I wanted to go in queue to try it  ;D :D

Can we delete saved records?  I've  opened some that I don't want  just to find out if they are my family so they seem to go into saved.  Now have a lot don't need.
Can I delete, like we could on old site. ?
Thought this would be quicker than sending , yet another message to find my FindMyPast

Hi Omega,

Just had a look at the new layout.

On my  "saved searches" page there are two blue buttons:  "sort" and "delete records".
These are after the two boxes on the left hand side  where it says: date first viewed / descending
where you can choose in which order you view the records.

Hope this helps a little.
