Has anyone used the AVG anti virus Free 2014 download?  Was wondering if it's worth installing?

Yes, I have used the free version for years on both PC and laptop, updating with each new version, I have always been very happy with it.

I have used it for a few years.It's on the main comp and my laptop and we have never had a problem with it  :)

I use it, have never had a problem. Although I also use spybot and noscript.
