Thanks JM, I do like going through this, gets me thinking and helps discover otherwise missed angles. Firstly, I've attached the Newspaper article from, The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW 1842 - 1954), Tuesday 9 January 1872, page 8 for Elizabeth Smith Nee Tucker. Can anyone make sense of the meaning of the second notice for her funeral ? It's written in some code or something that makes no sense to me ?
